Legal Agreement

Terms of Service

Applies to WebCrawlPro — Web Crawl & SEO Reports. By using this service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before accessing any features.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WebCrawlPro, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

WebCrawlPro includes tools for crawling websites, running audits, and generating reports (including Google-connected reporting when enabled). These terms apply to all features and functionality provided by the platform.

Permitted Use

You may use WebCrawlPro to analyze websites you own, operate, or are authorized to test. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and the terms of service of any website you crawl.

Prohibited Activities

Do not use the crawler to intentionally disrupt websites or overload servers.

Do not attempt to bypass access controls, robots.txt directives, or security measures.

Do not access private systems or data you are not authorized to view.

Google Login and Connected Accounts

If SEO Reports is enabled, you may connect a Google account using OAuth to access Search Console and GA4 reporting data. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions from clients or stakeholders before connecting their properties.

You can revoke Google access at any time from your Google account settings. Some features will stop working if access is revoked, but no data will be lost from the platform itself.

OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on the backend and are never exposed to the browser or shared with third parties.

Service Limitations

Crawling and auditing depend on external systems (target websites, network conditions, and third-party APIs). Some pages may block crawlers or return intermittent errors that affect audit results.

Reports and audits are provided for informational purposes and may not reflect all issues or guarantee outcomes. Results should be verified and interpreted by qualified professionals.

Target websites may rate-limit or block crawler requests
Google API quotas may limit the volume of data available
Network conditions may affect crawl speed and completeness
Results are based on data available at the time of the crawl or report

Security

WebCrawlPro includes security features to protect your data and interactions with the platform.

Encrypted token storage (AES encryption) for OAuth credentials at rest
HTTP-only session cookies with secure flag to prevent XSS attacks
Server-side API calls so tokens are never exposed to the browser
Configurable environment-based settings for deployment security

You are responsible for securing your deployment, including protecting environment variables, restricting access to the hosting environment, and enabling HTTPS.
